Do you believe in miracles!!?!?! The Seattle Seahawks, 7-9 in the regular season to win their division, the worst record by a division winner in NFL history, beat the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, 41-36! I grew up in Seattle and have been a Seahawks fan since the early 1980's (rabid fan in the last ten years) and this must be the biggest upset win in Seahawks history. I was going bananas last night watching the game with Linda, cheering the 'Hawks all the way, absolutely going crazy on Marshawn Lynch's 67-yard TD run where he broke 8 tackles to score what would be the winning touchdown, yelling at the TV at the top of my lungs when they stopped the Saints 2-point conversion which would have made it a 3-point game and cheering the final score, 41-36, delirious with excitement.
An unbelievable game, a fantastic victory for my 'Hawks and a stellar way to begin the Pete Carroll legacy.
